As a Senior QA Engineer based in Tokyo, you will own the quality strategy and release readiness for assigned product areas within Dialpad's platform. You will partner closely with Customer Success, Product, and Engineering teams to build quality into every stage of the software development lifecycle. Your responsibilities include finding code defects and writing clear, reproducible bug reports; acting as a technical liaison between Japanese customers and English-speaking engineering teams worldwide; validating end-to-end workflows across Product, Contact Center, Workforce Management, ERP, and other enterprise platforms; and performing functional, integration, regression, and exploratory testing to ensure high-quality releases.
You will help advance test automation capabilities, improve release confidence, and champion modern Quality Engineering practices while ensuring seamless interoperability between Dialpad and enterprise applications for customers in Japan and global markets. This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work effectively across cultures and time zones, and a collaborative approach to partnering with global stakeholders. You will report to a QA Manager based in India as part of Dialpad's globally integrated Engineering organization, reflecting the company's borderless approach to building high-performing teams.
