Salary: USD 95,200 - 136,000 / annual
Pax8 is seeking a Senior Strategic Project Manager to lead business-critical transformation initiatives and strategic programmes across the organization. You will join the Strategy & Operations team, partnering with executive leadership to drive clarity, structure, and momentum on complex initiatives that shape Pax8's growth as a leading AI and cloud marketplace for SMBs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead high-impact strategic programmes and transformation initiatives from concept through delivery
- Build and maintain comprehensive project plans aligned with business priorities, timelines, resources, and outcomes
- Partner with executive stakeholders to ensure programmes deliver measurable business value
- Create governance frameworks and structures that promote effective decision-making and transparency
- Identify, manage, and proactively solve risks, dependencies, and obstacles
- Coordinate cross-functional teams, fostering collaboration and accountability across multiple workstreams
- Monitor programme performance through metrics, reporting, and continuous improvement
- Support organizational change efforts to ensure successful adoption of new processes and systems
- Drive operational excellence by improving workflows, enhancing efficiency, and embedding best practices
- Balance stakeholder expectations, strategic priorities, and business objectives while ensuring quality delivery
Your work will directly influence Pax8's ability to execute strategic priorities, accelerate growth, and deliver transformational outcomes. By bringing clarity to complexity and aligning teams around shared objectives, you'll strengthen organizational performance and create long-term value.
Requirements:
- Extensive experience leading complex projects, programmes, or transformation initiatives in fast-paced environments
- Demonstrated consulting, strategy, operations, or business transformation background
- Strong expertise in programme governance, execution planning, stakeholder engagement, and business operations
- Proven ability to influence and communicate effectively with senior leaders and executives
- Strong understanding of project delivery frameworks (Agile, Scrum, Lean, Kanban, Design Thinking, Waterfall)
- Experience with project management platforms (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Wrike, Jira, Confluence, Asana, or similar)
- Exceptional problem-solving, critical-thinking, and decision-making skills
- Strong financial and budget management capabilities
- Experience leading organizational change and driving adoption of new initiatives
- Ability to build trusted relationships, navigate complexity, and deliver results through collaboration
- Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent professional experience
