Salary: USD 146,000 - 194,000 / annual

The Battlespace Awareness team builds systems that help military personnel understand their operational environment and make faster, better-informed decisions. The Senior Program Manager, Battlespace Awareness is responsible for overseeing planning, coordination, and delivery of a major product line for critical defense programs. This role requires strong experience managing complex, cross-functional projects involving multiple teams and numerous stakeholders. You will serve as the linchpin ensuring programs stay on track, meet objectives, and deliver according to schedule. Key responsibilities include: **Project Leadership & Strategy**: Develop and maintain detailed project and execution plans covering planning, testing, delivery, and ongoing monitoring. Establish clear objectives and deliverables aligned with program needs. **Cross-Team Coordination**: Partner closely with technical teams and subject matter experts to understand priorities, dependencies, and progress. Translate technical insights into clear project plans and incorporate new priorities as needed. **Documentation & Process Improvement**: Maintain comprehensive project documentation including specifications, user materials, and reports. Continuously evaluate and improve project management processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness. **Release Management**: Oversee planning and execution of delivery processes, ensuring smooth rollouts on schedule. Verify all deliverables meet defined quality standards before release. **Stakeholder Communication**: Serve as primary point of contact for all project-related communications internally and externally. Regularly update stakeholders on project status, risks, and milestones through reports and presentations. **Resource Allocation**: Assess and allocate necessary resources—people, tools, and budget—to properly support the project. Monitor resource use and make adjustments to avoid bottlenecks or shortages. **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks and work with subject matter experts to develop mitigation strategies minimizing impact on timelines and deliverables. Regularly review and update risk management plans. **Cross-Functional Collaboration**: Work with other divisions and departments to ensure the program supports broader priorities and meets integration requirements. Facilitate effective communication and collaboration across teams. **Requirements:** - Bachelor's or master's degree in Business, Management, or related field - Extensive program or project management experience, ideally on complex, multi-team programs - Excellent leadership, team management, and interpersonal skills - Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making capabilities - Experience with project tracking and collaboration tools such as Jira and Confluence - Exceptional verbal and written communication skills - Ability to manage high-pressure situations and tight deadlines - Must be able to obtain and hold a U.S. security clearance
