Contentstack is seeking an experienced Senior Product Marketing Manager to own the commercial strategy for Content Cloud, the company's largest revenue base and entry point for most customers. Content Cloud encompasses the headless CMS, Assets (DAM), and Launch products.
This is a senior individual contributor role with significant ownership and influence across the entire product line. You will own positioning, packaging, launches, buyer narratives, pricing, competitive strategy, and field readiness. You'll help raise the bar for the broader product marketing team through mentorship and strategic leadership without direct management responsibility, and serve as a strategic resource when the function lead is unavailable.
Key responsibilities include:
- Develop and execute commercial strategy for Content Cloud, including positioning, packaging, launches, and buyer narratives
- Own renewal and expansion narratives for the largest installed base, driving adoption of Assets and Launch
- Lead competitive strategy through battlecards, win/loss analysis, enterprise RFP/RFI support, and translating competitive intelligence into product strategy
- Own pricing, packaging, ICP definition, and core value propositions in partnership with Sales, Product, and Marketing
- Define and measure adoption goals for launches using data and customer feedback
- Gather voice of customer and market insights through customer conversations, analyst briefings, and competitive research
- Represent Contentstack externally through live demos, webinars, customer roundtables, and industry events
- Mentor and collaborate with the product marketing team to elevate overall performance
The role has a strong commercial focus on protecting and growing the largest installed base, driving expansion, and shaping competitive positioning in enterprise markets. You'll help evolve Contentstack's story as the company moves toward agentic experiences, using customer insights and adoption data to continuously improve strategy.
Contentstack is an AI-forward company that encourages practical use of AI tools to improve work and drive impact.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 8-12 years of B2B SaaS product marketing experience
- At least 4 years marketing a headless CMS, DXP, DAM, or content infrastructure product (deep category experience is critical)
- Hands-on enterprise DAM or content management experience, including familiarity with RFPs and complex enterprise buying processes
- Proven experience owning pricing and packaging for a product line and confidently defending commercial decisions
- Ability to demo a product live and unscripted without relying on a sales engineer (will be tested during interviews)
- Experience positioning against enterprise incumbents and challengers, with a track record of applying lessons from wins and losses
- Demonstrated track record of driving adoption after launch using data to understand effectiveness
- Strong communication, executive presence, and influence skills; ability to work effectively with senior leaders across Product, Sales, Marketing, and executive team
- Willingness to travel occasionally
- Plus: DAM experience, retail/commerce background, developer audience experience, partner ecosystem knowledge, product-led growth expertise, or answer engine/search optimization experience
