Twilio is seeking a Senior Principal Product Manager to own the strategic vision and execution of the Developer Platform—a foundational internal infrastructure that powers Twilio's engineering teams and partners. This is a high-impact, company-wide role focused on transforming platform engineering from reactive, ticket-based support into a proactive, self-service product experience. You will own the multi-quarter roadmap for foundational services, APIs, and infrastructure, balancing technical debt, scalability, and feature velocity. Key responsibilities include: • Establish a platform-as-a-product mindset, applying product management methodologies (user research, roadmapping, KPI definition) to internal infrastructure • Design and implement self-service experiences: golden paths, discoverable developer portals, service catalogs, and documentation-as-code to reduce cognitive load and support burden • Lead cross-functional collaboration with Engineering, Architecture, Security, and Design to ensure platform solutions are extensible, compliant, and meet internal developer needs • Champion developer productivity improvements across APIs, SDKs, sandbox environments, and deployment tooling to reduce time-to-first-deploy • Define and track success metrics (DORA, adoption, reliability, developer satisfaction) to drive data-informed strategy and advocacy • Evangelize platform capabilities and narrative across Twilio, driving roadmap prioritization and internal adoption The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in platform-as-a-product thinking, cloud-native technologies (Kubernetes, microservices, CI/CD), and developer experience design. You should have proven ability to influence stakeholders, architect solutions that shift from reactive to proactive models, and translate technical complexity into compelling narratives. Experience with internal developer platforms, infrastructure product management, or developer tools is highly valuable. Twilio is a remote-first company with a strong culture of connection and global inclusion. While fully remote, you may be asked to report in person on an ad-hoc basis for team gatherings, functional off-sites, or customer meetings.
