Istari is seeking a Senior Platform Engineer to join the Integrations Platform team. You will own the platform's edge—a software agent that runs on customer machines and implements core technology powering end-to-end workflows by integrating with customer engineering tools.
In this role, you'll work across the full stack: from deployment infrastructure and server code to SDKs and agents running across diverse operating systems and deployment targets. You'll coordinate with teams throughout the organization, taking features from inception through customer production and real-world usage.
Your responsibilities include:
- Designing and building tools for hardware and software engineers to drive automation and workflow integration
- Collaborating with cross-functional partners (product, infrastructure, customer success) to ship features end-to-end
- Evolving API design and platform architecture to support rapid customer iteration
- Working with high autonomy within clear guardrails to solve complex integration challenges
