Hims & Hers, a leading public health and wellness platform (NYSE: HIMS), is seeking a Senior Manager of Workplace, Health and Safety for its Fulfillment Center in London. This role is responsible for implementing and maintaining a comprehensive WHS Management System, developing a robust safety culture, and ensuring regulatory compliance across the facility.
Key responsibilities include: interpreting and driving WHS policies, programs, and training in collaboration with senior leadership; leading site-wide risk assessments and COSHH evaluations for pharmaceutical ingredients and chemicals; developing monthly safety metrics and quarterly safety plans; managing industrial hygiene, ergonomics, and regulated waste programs; coordinating respiratory fit testing and medical evaluations; ensuring security protocols; managing workers' compensation; and serving as the liaison for all UK regulatory agency inquiries and inspections.
You will partner closely with the site General Manager and FC leadership team to hold the organization accountable for safety performance, incident reporting, and leading indicators. The role requires influencing change across the fulfillment center, developing safety recognition programs, and ensuring regulatory compliance is incorporated into all equipment, process, and building projects.
Required qualifications: BS/BA in safety or related field; 12+ years of industry experience; 5+ years leading WHS for large fulfillment centers; NEBOSH General Certificate; experience with British Pharmacopeia reference standards. Preferred: experience implementing safety in lab/compounding environments. Strong communication skills and proficiency with Google Workspace tools required.
