Hadrian is building autonomous factories to reindustrialize America by combining AI, advanced software, robotics, and full-stack manufacturing for aerospace and defense companies. The company helps customers build rockets, satellites, aircraft, ships, and other mission-critical systems up to 10x faster and at significantly lower cost. Following a $1.37B Series D at a $7.87B valuation, Hadrian is rapidly expanding its manufacturing footprint and scaling its Factory-as-a-Service platform. You will be Hadrian's first Sr. Manager of Production Planning & Scheduling, owning factory-side execution across the manufacturing network. While the S&OP function decides where and whether to build, you own how and when it actually gets built on the floor. You will own discrete operational scheduling, job sequencing and priority, and the daily/weekly rhythm that ensures on-time delivery (OTD) and sets the factory up for success. Reporting to Operations leadership, you will drive a consistent scheduling methodology across the network while partnering closely with each site General Manager on execution. Your scheduling and planning team members will support sites day-to-day (dotted-line to the GM) while you own the standards, methodology, and rigor centrally. This is a builder and owner role where you'll develop scheduling methodologies, communication rigor, and visual management from the ground up, turning them into standard work. Key responsibilities include: owning discrete production scheduling and job sequencing across work centers to maximize OTD and throughput; controlling work order release to the floor; setting and managing priority and milestone dates with clear, transparent rules; maintaining data integrity for schedules and dates in the system; building daily/weekly scheduling cadence and standard work; translating S&OP network allocation and capacity plans into executable, sequenced factory schedules; partnering closely with site General Managers; establishing systems for tracking work order progress and surfacing at-risk jobs early; owning on-time delivery as a primary metric and rooting cause misses; ensuring materials, tooling, capacity, and priorities are aligned ahead of work; highlighting and driving capacity improvements; feeding execution signal back to S&OP; developing scheduling methodologies and logic from the ground up; establishing communication rigor and escalation paths; building visual management schedules, boards, and dashboards; establishing key scheduling metrics; and leading, coaching, and developing a team of production planners and schedulers as the function scales. You will be the person the floor, Program Management, and leadership rely on for a clear, credible answer to "what are we running, in what order, and are we going to hit the date?" QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS: - Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations Management, Business, Engineering, Finance, or related discipline preferred - 5+ years of progressive experience in production planning, scheduling, or manufacturing operations - Proven experience in production planning, scheduling, or shop floor operations management in a discrete manufacturing environment - Deep understanding of production scheduling, sequencing, priority management, master scheduling, capacity/constraint analysis, and OTD drivers - Hands-on experience with scheduling/ERP/MES systems and strong analytical and data visualization skills - Experience leading teams and developing planning/scheduling talent - Strong communication and facilitation skills, with the ability to drive urgency and accountability on the floor - ERP/MRP expertise: work order lifecycle, MRP mechanics, and maintaining schedule/date data integrity at scale - Must be a U.S. citizen or national, lawful permanent resident, or eligible to obtain required ITAR authorizations from the U.S. Department of State
