Salary: USD 170,000 - 220,000 / annual

Gatik is the leader in autonomous middle-mile logistics, operating Level 4 autonomous trucks for B2B supply chain delivery. The company has achieved the world's first fully driverless commercial transportation service (launched with Walmart in 2021) and is now scaling operations across Texas, Arkansas, and Ontario, Canada. The Network Design & Optimization (NDO) team is a cross-functional strategic function responsible for planning and maintaining networks and routes for Gatik's autonomous vehicles. This team bridges business and technical functions, collaborating with Commercial, Engineering, Procurement, Operations, and Product teams. As Senior Manager of Network Design & Optimization, you will lead the NDO team and be responsible for scaling Freight-Only Operations to meet rising customer demands. You will leverage quantitative, strategic thinking and creative problem-solving to drive growth in this rapidly expanding function. Key responsibilities include: - Collaborate with business, technical, product, and operations teams to design and optimize Gatik's autonomous networks - Drive implementation and scaling of tools, capabilities, and processes for the NDO team - Analyze customer network data and prepare optimized networks with corresponding commercial proposals - Structure complex problems, analyze large datasets, and deliver insights and recommendations to leadership - Support the B2B sales cycle including data analysis, network design, routing, scheduling, and proposal development - Lead end-to-end projects with internal and external stakeholders to collect and compile information supporting business strategy and operations - Translate business requirements to technical teams and ensure product development alignment with team vision - Conduct research and analysis of industry, company, customer, and channel data to identify trends and opportunities - Communicate analysis and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels through presentations and actionable insights The role is based in Santa Clara, CA, requiring 5 days per week in-office presence. You will work in a small, highly effective team where ownership, collaboration, and communication are highly valued. Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in engineering or related science discipline (MBA preferred) - 5+ years of work experience in a strategic, analytical, and/or customer-facing role (consulting, banking, and/or startup experience preferred) - Hands-on experience problem-solving and implementing scalable solutions to complex problems in rapidly changing environments - Proven ability to analyze data, develop creative solutions, and make sound decisions under pressure - Excellent proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, and data analytics tools; Python or data modeling/scripting skills strongly preferred - Comfortable using AI tools to automate workflows - Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills with ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels - Comfortable working in fast-paced environments, managing ambiguity, multitasking, and prioritizing conflicting demands
