Salary: USD 105,000 - 130,500 / annual

Funko is a leading pop culture and licensed collectibles company holding thousands of licenses and rights to create tens of thousands of characters. The Sr. Manager, Licensing (Studios and Video Games) will oversee Funko's rapidly growing Entertainment partnerships within the Hardlines business, reporting to the VP, Licensing and Business Development. Business Planning & Account Management (50%): Lead Entertainment partnerships covering current and prospective licensors. Responsibilities include forecasting, relationship management (internal and external), contract negotiation and review, and calendarized business reviews by partner. In partnership with Sales and senior leadership, identify new business and revenue opportunities, work with licensors on contractual needs, and focus on expanding Pop! and line extensions. Develop strategies and business plans by retailer, brand, and property. Cross-Functional Category Management (40%): Research and respond to licensor requests in a timely manner. Analyze competitive landscape, market trends, consumer behavior, and retailer/industry needs. Partner with Royalties to analyze account performance and develop growth plans by key licensor and product lines. Develop and implement product, merchandising, and marketing strategies to maximize sales and meet contractual commitments. Collaborate with Sales and Joint Business Planning teams on assortment, retail planning, and sales pitches. Cross-Functional Merchandising and Product Development (10%): Partner with Merchandising and Creative teams to support innovation and go-to-market strategies. Work with Product Development to ensure Funko compliance with contractual rights and protocols. Act as liaison between Funko and Licensor Product Development teams. Ensure licensor materials and periodic updates are shared across Funko divisions. Required: 5+ years direct IP merchandise, fashion categories, or adjacent licensing experience. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales and Marketing, or related field. Strong analytical and organizational skills. Excellent written and verbal communication—confident, fluid, and persuasive. Problem-solving mindset and 'can do' attitude. Strong prioritization and self-governance.
