You will join a newly formed growth function focused on one of the company's biggest opportunities: helping more patients successfully engage with and return to care. As an early member of this team, you will own high-priority patient retention problems from 0→1—identifying where patients fall out of care, sizing the biggest opportunities, developing strategy to address them, and driving solutions that measurably improve conversion, retention, and reactivation.
This is a strategic, analytical role at the intersection of strategy & operations, data, product, and lifecycle marketing. You will start with ambiguous business problems, use data and patient insights to determine focus areas, and work cross-functionally to turn opportunities into outcomes. This is not a role optimizing mature programs; you will help determine what to build, why it matters, and how success will be measured, then own execution through experimentation and cross-functional influence.
Key responsibilities include: identifying and sizing the biggest opportunities across the patient journey using quantitative and qualitative data; owning strategy for high-priority retention problems by translating ambiguous questions into clear hypotheses, roadmaps, and measurable goals; driving 0→1 initiatives from insight to impact; owning the metrics and experimentation roadmap; designing and scaling campaigns across email, SMS, push, and product touchpoints; and partnering with Product, Data, and Engineering to turn strategic opportunities into scalable lifecycle capabilities.
You will report to the Head of Lifecycle Marketing. This is a full-time role with an expectation of working from the office 3–4 days per week, with a preference for candidates based in NYC or SF.
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3–7 years of experience in strategy, consulting, product, growth, lifecycle marketing, or another high-impact role where you've owned ambiguous business problems and driven measurable outcomes
- Data-fluent and experimentation-rigorous; able to drive analysis from insight to action with strategy and decision-making rooted in data
- 0-to-1 builder who has launched programs from scratch; self-starter who identifies highest-leverage work, defines the plan, and drives through ambiguity
- Deeply impact-oriented; prioritizes based on business outcomes and has a track record of materially moving core metrics
- Comfortable in fast-moving environments; can juggle multiple priorities, adapt quickly, and thrive in hyper-growth
- Strong cross-functional collaboration skills; builds trust and alignment with different teams in a low-ego way
NICE TO HAVES:
- Experience in lifecycle marketing including hands-on ESP expertise (customer.io, Braze, Iterable)
- Experience at fast-growing tech or healthcare startup
- People leadership or strong coaching skills
- Fluency with modern mar-tech stacks and engineering partnerships
