Rula is seeking a Senior Healthcare Partnerships Associate to own a Midwest territory and drive expansion of access to mental health and addiction treatment services. This is a full-cycle sales role combining aggressive outbound prospecting with field relationship management. In the first 90 days, you will execute the complete sales process end-to-end: using provided lead lists to hunt, consult, and close healthcare providers through cold calling and outbound prospecting. You will work a hybrid schedule with three remote days per week during this ramp period. Following your first 90 days, you will transition to spending two days per week in the field, leading all in-person meetings and relationship management for accounts within a 2.5-hour radius of your assigned metro hub. You will have full territory ownership and autonomy to drive growth in your market. Rula is a Series C-funded mental health platform focused on addiction treatment and comprehensive mental health care. The company is remote-first and operates across most U.S. states. The role offers uncapped variable pay tied directly to performance, with strong potential to exceed target earnings through a base salary plus commission structure. You will work with a diverse range of healthcare personas—from individual contributors to executive decision-makers—and operate in a fast-paced startup environment where you can build new playbooks and drive process improvements. REQUIREMENTS: - 3+ years carrying a quota in outbound sales or business development (healthcare preferred) with a track record of strong quota attainment - 2+ years of independent self-sourcing a meaningful portion of a sales pipeline through outbound channels, including cold calling - Demonstrated success managing full-cycle deals independently, navigating complex objections with tenacity, and maintaining rigorous closing discipline - Strong written and verbal communication skills; comfortable engaging both providers and practice staff - Experience managing customer relationships and deals in a CRM (Salesforce preferred) - Must currently reside in one of the designated target markets (Chicago, Detroit, Minneapolis-St. Paul, St. Louis, Kansas City, Cleveland, Columbus, Indianapolis, or Milwaukee) with reliable transportation. No relocation assistance provided. PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: - Proven ability to operate in ambiguous environments, leveraging curiosity and experimentation to build new playbooks and process improvements - Experience selling to diverse personas within healthcare or health systems, spanning individual contributors to executive decision-makers - Experience operating within a startup environment and navigating challenges of taking a business from 0 to 1 - History of upward professional progression or internal promotions in previous sales or business development roles
