Laurel is an AI Time platform for professional services firms (accounting, law, consulting) that automates work time capture and connects time data to business outcomes. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, you will own complex features end-to-end across Laurel's product stack, from native telemetry and cloud services to user-facing applications. You'll work across multiple product teams (Digital Footprint, Signal, Timekeeping, Enterprise) depending on fit, architecting and building scalable, reliable software that helps professionals reclaim time.
Key responsibilities include designing and maintaining efficient, reusable code across the full stack; taking ownership of complex features from specification through delivery and monitoring; collaborating with product managers, designers, and engineers to define technical specifications; identifying and solving performance bottlenecks; mentoring junior engineers; implementing automated testing and CI/CD pipelines; and participating in on-call rotations.
You'll need 5+ years of professional software engineering experience with full-stack capabilities. Required technical skills include strong TypeScript/JavaScript, Node.js, messaging queues (AWS SQS), and MongoDB. You should have a solid understanding of modern web technologies and be comfortable working with large-scale data systems. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent practical experience) is required.
