Celonis is the global leader in Process Intelligence and Process Mining technology, serving as one of the world's fastest-growing enterprise SaaS companies. The company is building advanced AI capabilities, specifically its Process Intelligence Graph, to transform data insights into immediate business action. You'll join Prisma, a newly formed team building the Modeling Library that powers Celonis' Process Modeling Experiences. This library is the foundation for how users create, edit, and visualize process models across the platform. The team collaborates closely with Product, UX, and other engineering teams to turn complex modeling and graph problems into fast, intuitive interactions for customers. As a Senior Frontend Engineer, you'll help build and grow the Modeling library from the ground up. Your focus will be on graph rendering, layout, and interaction logic that enables users to model business processes clearly and efficiently, even with large and complex datasets. Key responsibilities include: - Design and build core Modeling library components using TypeScript, Angular, and HTML5 - Solve complex visualization problems such as fast interactions, dynamic graph layouts, and graph interactions to Celonis' quality standards - Use AI coding tools daily to accelerate development and problem-solving on graph layout, rendering, and interaction challenges - Collaborate with Product, UX, and engineering teams to translate modeling requirements into working features - Write clean, tested code and contribute to technical decisions You bring 5+ years of professional frontend engineering experience with strong hands-on mastery of TypeScript, Angular, and HTML5. You have a proven track record of owning complex visualization or graph-based systems end-to-end, are comfortable driving technical decisions and mentoring other engineers, and have demonstrated ability to solve complex visualization problems. Critically, you use AI coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cursor, Claude Code) daily as part of your normal development workflow. You're based in or near Madrid and available to work on-site part of the week in this hybrid role. Experience with graph layout libraries such as yFiles is a plus.
