DoubleVerify is seeking a Senior Engineering Manager to lead the Social Engineering team responsible for building deep integrations with the world's largest social platforms to measure ad performance. You will oversee a team of motivated engineers developing critical, large-scale distributed services that process billions of real-time transactions daily.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading and developing a team of engineers while fostering their growth and execution
- Delivering large, complex projects and APIs that scale iteratively while frontloading business value
- Overseeing end-to-end integrations with social platforms and maintaining deep knowledge of business strategies
- Owning major strategic initiatives that advance DoubleVerify's engineering capabilities
- Defining processes and structures that enable strong growth across a diverse engineering organization
- Contributing to architectural decisions with focus on product and business needs
- Exploring the technical landscape of the Big Data ecosystem and evaluating frameworks and technologies
- Providing technical guidance and coaching through design reviews, brainstorming, and pair-programming
- Interacting with executive-level management on critical matters internally and externally
- Translating technical concepts for business stakeholders and communicating business objectives to engineering teams
The role is based in New York City with a hybrid schedule requiring 3 days in office (Tuesday-Thursday). You'll work directly with engineers from major internet companies on API development and collaborate on mission-critical systems requiring industry-leading scalability and reliability.
