Reliable Robotics is developing automated aviation systems to enhance safety in air transportation. As a Senior Embedded Software Engineer, you will be part of the Embedded Systems team responsible for low-level software and firmware that powers the company's autonomy stack. You'll work on dependable computing, networking, signal acquisition, and motor control solutions that enable aircraft demonstrations and product certification.
Key responsibilities include developing C/C++ flight software following DO-178C procedures, focusing on bare-metal OS initialization, networking, protocol drivers, and memory interfaces. You'll also develop Python-based integration test cases and maintain CI/CD infrastructure for automated software builds, testing, and deployment.
The role requires 8+ years of professional C/C++ development experience, a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Computer Engineering (or equivalent), and professional experience with embedded, high-performance, or safety-critical systems. Preferred qualifications include 12+ years of C/C++ experience, deep knowledge of computer architecture and operating systems, prior DO-178 environment experience, and comfort with fast-paced agile development.
