Crux is a capital platform modernizing fundraising and deployment for clean energy and critical infrastructure. The company combines advisory, investments, technology, and intelligence to serve the rapidly growing clean economy. With $77M in funding from top-tier investors (Andreessen Horowitz, Lowercarbon Capital, New System Ventures, and others) and strategic backing from major energy companies, Crux is positioned at the intersection of energy transition and climate finance.
As Senior Director of Partnerships, you will own and scale Crux's partnerships program as a primary deal-flow engine. Your core mission is to build and manage relationships with institutional advisors—primarily Big 4 and AmLaw law firms, plus mid-market and regional tax/accounting firms—and systematize them into a measurable, repeatable source of referred pipeline.
Key responsibilities include: architecting a tiered partnership framework with clear activation criteria, enablement programs, and performance metrics; building a repeatable partner acquisition program to systematically expand the portfolio; personally managing enterprise relationships with institutional partners as a peer-level contact; developing partner enablement, co-branded campaigns, and joint go-to-market motions; owning the strategic direction of market intelligence briefings and thought leadership as a door opener; architecting and scaling a robust events program (partner briefings, co-hosted receptions, conference activations, regional roadshows); and coordinating extensively across research, content, events, commercial, legal, policy, and operations teams.
You will lead a team of two direct reports with plans to grow. This is a high-impact senior leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of enterprise relationship management, program architecture, and commercial strategy. The role requires deep expertise in institutional advisory relationships, ability to operate as a peer with sophisticated law and tax firm leaders, and a track record of building scalable, metrics-driven partnership programs. You'll be instrumental in deepening Crux's connectivity to capital, particularly with tax investors in the Fortune 1000.
