Crux is a capital platform modernizing fundraising and deployment for clean energy and critical infrastructure. The company combines advisory, investments, technology, and intelligence to serve the rapidly growing clean economy. With 120+ team members and $77M in funding from top-tier investors including Andreessen Horowitz and Lowercarbon Capital, Crux is positioned at the intersection of energy transition and domestic manufacturing. As Senior Director of Partnerships, you will own and scale Crux's partnerships program as a structured, measurable source of deal flow. Your primary focus is building and managing relationships with institutional advisors—Big 4 and AmLaw law firms, plus mid-market and regional tax/accounting firms—and converting them into a repeatable referral engine. Key responsibilities include: architecting a tiered partnership framework with clear activation criteria, enablement programs, and performance metrics; building a repeatable partner acquisition program to systematically expand the portfolio; personally managing enterprise relationships with institutional partners as a peer-level contact; developing partner enablement, co-branded campaigns, and joint go-to-market motions; owning the strategic direction of market intelligence briefings and thought leadership that serve as door openers; architecting and scaling a robust events program including partner briefings, co-hosted receptions, and conference activations; coordinating extensively across research, content, events, commercial, legal, policy, and operations teams; and leading a team of two direct reports with plans to grow. This is a high-impact senior leadership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of enterprise relationship management, program architecture, and commercial strategy. The role requires deep expertise in institutional advisory relationships, ability to operate as a peer with sophisticated partners, and skill in building scalable, repeatable systems. You'll work in a fast-growing company operating at the frontier of climate finance, where energy demand is driving urgent need for clean infrastructure and capital deployment.
