The Senior DevOps Engineering Manager will lead the development, deployment, and operation of Cleerly's next-generation healthcare diagnostic platform. This role combines hands-on technical leadership with people management, requiring the ability to build scalable cloud infrastructure, improve software delivery processes, and ensure reliability, security, and maintainability of the engineering platform.
Key responsibilities include:
- Leading the design and evolution of cloud infrastructure and DevOps capabilities on AWS
- Architecting, building, and maintaining scalable infrastructure for company applications and services
- Developing and optimizing CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and software delivery processes
- Managing and mentoring DevOps, platform, and software engineering individual contributors
- Establishing technical direction, engineering standards, and operational best practices
- Building and managing infrastructure using Terraform and Infrastructure-as-Code technologies
- Partnering with software engineering, product, security, quality, and cross-functional teams to support regulated healthcare software development and delivery
The role requires understanding of healthcare regulatory requirements and quality objectives. Travel is minimal for most roles (typically once per month or quarter), though some cross-functional projects may require occasional in-person collaboration. The company uses Google Workspace, Slack, Confluence/Jira, and Zoom.
