Next Insurance is seeking a Senior Claims Advocate to investigate, evaluate, and resolve General Liability Bodily Injury, Property Damage, and Professional Liability claims. You will analyze coverage, liability, and damages based on policy terms, claim reports, statutes, and case law to determine appropriate claim handling. Key responsibilities include communicating effectively with policyholders, claimants, and witnesses to gather information and guide the claims process; identifying and referring potentially fraudulent claims to the Special Investigation Unit (SIU); and pursuing third-party subrogation opportunities where applicable. You will ensure compliance with all relevant statutory and regulatory requirements across jurisdictions while demonstrating strong customer service skills with empathy and a focus on resolution.
The ideal candidate brings 5-10+ years of experience handling liability claims involving bodily injury, with demonstrated expertise in coverage analysis, investigation, and compliance-focused claims handling. You must have strong written and oral communication skills, along with excellent interpersonal, analytical, investigative, and negotiation abilities. A Texas Independent Adjuster License is required, or you must be able to obtain one promptly. The role values natural curiosity paired with relentless follow-through, and the ability to remain calm under pressure while diffusing tension.
