Stay22 is a Montreal-based platform that helps ambitious creators and high-intent digital platforms monetize their existing traffic through background technology. The company serves over 6,500 creators and platforms with more than $1 billion in annual transactions, expanding beyond travel into retail, lifestyle, publishing, events, and transportation. This is a strategic, industry-focused Senior Business Development Manager role on the Supply team, which sits at the intersection of technology, product strategy, and commercial impact. You will work autonomously to identify untapped value within existing business relationships, including opportunities to expand current partnerships, access new advertising budgets, and maximize Stay22's existing infrastructure. Key responsibilities include: developing compelling pitches, presentations, and ROI analyses tailored to partner needs and incentives; collaborating closely with the Supply lead, Product team, and Strategic Partnerships managers to evaluate opportunities and advance initiatives; advising partners on monetization strategy, including incremental revenue opportunities, affiliate economics, and advertising models; managing complex partnership cycles with large enterprises, navigating executive-level discussions and managing multiple parallel relationships; using data and business intelligence to drive results and improve partner outcomes; managing significant business initiatives and budgets with influence over multi-million-dollar results; and representing Stay22 externally at industry conferences and partner meetings (20-30% travel). You bring 8+ years of experience in business development, partnerships, or strategic commercial roles, ideally in ad tech, affiliate marketing, publishing, digital media, or digital monetization. You have deep understanding of the publisher ecosystem and digital monetization, including how distribution, advertising, affiliate, and performance marketing models work in practice. You are entrepreneurial and highly autonomous, comfortable working without an established playbook and taking calculated risks. You have direct experience with advertisers or large enterprise partners and understand how budgets are allocated, managed, and optimized. You demonstrate excellent commercial judgment and a proven ability to navigate complex sales and partnership cycles with large enterprises. You have executive presence and confidence, able to establish credibility and influence with seasoned stakeholders and senior leadership. You are highly curious, able to spot trends and opportunities, think quickly, and transform ambiguous ideas into concrete actions. You can manage significant commercial results and drive incremental revenue growth rather than simply replacing existing revenue.
