ApplyBoard is seeking a Senior Business Development Manager based in Ahmedabad to lead relationship management and growth initiatives with a portfolio of recruitment partners (RPs). This role is central to ApplyBoard's mission of simplifying international student education by connecting students, advisors, and institutions on a unified platform.
You will serve as a senior ambassador for ApplyBoard, responsible for managing and nurturing strategic partnerships with educational agents and institutions. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing scalable recruitment strategies to increase international student enrollment, cultivating deep relationships with top-tier partners, and negotiating key agreements. You'll represent ApplyBoard at major international education conferences, deliver compelling presentations, and establish high standards for partner training and development.
As a senior member of the team, you will mentor and guide junior team members, act as a primary escalation point for complex issues, and lead data-driven analysis of recruitment activities to identify growth opportunities. You'll spearhead continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing recruitment trends and market research to inform strategic planning. Additionally, you'll contribute to cross-functional projects that amplify ApplyBoard's international presence and expand access to quality education globally.
The ideal candidate brings 4-6 years of proven success in sales, student recruitment, or enterprise account management, ideally with a background in international education. You should demonstrate exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, a proactive results-oriented mindset, and superior organizational abilities. Advanced technical proficiency with CRM systems and digital engagement tools is essential, along with proven experience in data analysis and using metrics to refine strategies. Fluency in English is required; additional language skills are highly desirable. A deep commitment to democratizing access to quality education is fundamental to success in this role.
