Vanta is a Series D security and trust management platform helping businesses continuously monitor, verify, and prove their security posture. The Integrations Platform team owns Vanta's ecosystem of 400+ integrations across cloud providers, identity platforms, MDM, and HRIS systems.
As a Senior Backend Software Engineer on the Integrations Platform team, you will lead complex projects spanning multiple stakeholders and engineers, setting technical direction for critical infrastructure areas. You'll design, develop, and own new product functionality and infrastructure using TypeScript, React, and Node.js, working on both greenfield projects and scaling existing systems.
Key responsibilities include: leading complex projects with measurable business impact; setting direction for technical surface areas to support rapid growth; designing and owning backend systems, APIs, and platform primitives; collaborating with talented engineers to improve customer security outcomes; and contributing to engineering culture as the company scales.
The team's North Star is to eliminate barriers to integration building, enabling anyone to create integrations in minutes using declarative, low-code, and no-code patterns enhanced by AI. You'll work on authentication, lifecycle management, observability, and publishing primitives that form the foundation for all integrations.
