Relativity Space is building rockets to serve today's needs and tomorrow's breakthroughs. The Terran R vehicle will deliver customer payloads to orbit, meeting growing demand for launch capacity. The Avionics Test & Operations team is responsible for testing avionics hardware and systems across the entire product lifecycle: component-, subsystem-, and vehicle-level. In this role, you will develop and automate the test infrastructure used to validate Terran R's Flight Termination System hardware. You'll build automated test workflows and data review pipelines, support qualification and acceptance testing, and partner closely with avionics, software, and systems engineers to prepare flight hardware for integration. This combines hands-on test and lab experience with test execution automation, data review pipelines, and careful attention to detail in a safety-critical environment. You'll work with technologies including Python, Pandas, NI PXI/cDAQ data acquisition systems, REST APIs, Grafana, Plotly, PowerBI, and SQL/document databases. You'll be comfortable reading CAD models, electrical schematics, software requirements, and design documents, and can effectively execute, document, and communicate system test results in a collaborative setting. The role offers autonomy and ownership at every level. You'll solve problems that haven't been solved before, collaborate across teams, and see your work come to life in record time. This is an early moment where it's possible to leave your mark on the product, process, and culture, while Terran R is tangible and picking up momentum.
