EVERSANA INTOUCH is a global marketing agency network serving the life sciences industry, part of the fully integrated EVERSANA commercialization platform. The Sr. AI Developer, Engineering will design, build, and deploy core application components of EVERSANA's AI Agency Platform—a multi-tenant enterprise system connecting generative AI, workflow automation, and compliance controls to accelerate pharmaceutical brand operations.
Key Responsibilities:
Application Development: Design and implement backend services and APIs using Python (FastAPI, Flask). Build modern, responsive front-end applications using React, Next.js, or Vue.js. Develop orchestration workflows connecting AI agents, compliance services, and data pipelines. Implement robust error handling, logging, and retry mechanisms for reliable agent execution. Collaborate with AI/ML Engineers to integrate model endpoints (LLMs, RAG systems, Vertex AI Agents).
Integration & Connectors: Build and maintain system connectors to enterprise tools including Veeva Vault/PromoMats, Google Cloud Vertex AI & Orchestrate, SharePoint/SFMC/Adobe Experience Cloud, and Snowflake/BigQuery. Ensure secure authentication and authorization across integrations using OAuth2, service accounts, and RBAC. Partner with Data Engineering on ETL/ELT pipelines feeding reporting dashboards.
Deployment & Orchestration: Build microservices and APIs supporting multi-tenant scalability and environment isolation. Automate deployments using CI/CD pipelines (GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Cloud Build). Collaborate with DevOps on containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes. Maintain code quality, testing coverage, and deployment reliability across Dev, UAT, and Prod environments.
Security & Compliance: Implement RBAC, audit logging, and encryption (at rest/in transit). Work with Compliance and Security teams to ensure HIPAA, GDPR, and SOC 2 adherence. Ensure platform design meets pharma regulatory expectations for traceability and content integrity.
Collaboration: Partner with Product, UX, and QA teams in agile sprints. Translate business requirements into robust, maintainable technical solutions. Participate in sprint planning, code reviews, and cross-functional demos. Document system design, integration specs, and deployment procedures.
Required: 12+ years as a Full Stack Engineer or Software Developer building enterprise-grade web applications. Proficiency in Python, .Net, and JavaScript/TypeScript. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs, microservices architecture, and async programming. Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (preferably GCP). Experience with containerization and orchestration. Working knowledge of SQL/NoSQL databases. Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and source control (GitHub).
Preferred: 12+ years in digital creative technology, AI prompt design, or content innovation. Strong understanding of prompt engineering, LLMs, and natural language generation workflows. Proficiency in Vertex AI, Gemini API, LangChain, or similar frameworks. Background in MarTech, AdTech, or AI-driven content systems. Understanding of brand tone, messaging frameworks, and pharma MLR considerations.
