Pennylane is a high-growth French fintech (€400M raised, backed by Sequoia) building financial management and accounting software for SMEs and accounting firms across Europe. With 1,000+ employees and 900,000+ users, the company is expanding rapidly.
As an Accounting Support Specialist, you will be a core member of the technical and accounting support team, serving as the central point of contact between business leaders, in-house accountants, and accounting firms. You will investigate client issues, provide solutions, and escalate to technical teams when needed. You'll also help accountants and firms migrate their data onto Pennylane.
In your first three months, you'll complete the Pennylane Academy, learn the product deeply, understand company vision and departments, and begin handling accounting-related support requests with guidance. You'll learn to qualify requests using strong accounting principles and deliver fast, impactful solutions.
From months 4-6, you'll gain autonomy, manage increasingly complex client requests, contribute to help documentation, share accounting knowledge with colleagues, and relay customer insights to the product team.
Longer term, you'll become a product expert, drive team efficiency improvements, lead projects, and have opportunities to move into account management or implementation roles.
You'll work fully remote with flexible arrangements, based in or near Lorient, France. The role offers direct impact on customer success and clear growth paths within a fast-scaling, international team (25+ nationalities).
