As a Payment Partnerships Specialist, you will manage strategic relationships with major card networks (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and payment providers that support Checkout's global payment infrastructure. This role is critical to enabling Checkout to deliver payment products and services to merchants worldwide. Key responsibilities include: - Serve as the primary point of contact for day-to-day partnership operations with card networks and payment providers, both internally and externally - Ensure adherence to existing processes and track performance metrics to confirm both parties meet deliverables - Design and develop new processes to scale partnerships for growth, operational efficiency, and performance improvement - Analyze partnership performance using data tools to identify trends and support data-driven decision-making - Collaborate across cross-functional teams including Product, Risk, Compliance, Legal, Finance, Operations, and Sales - Act as a subject matter expert on partner products and operations for internal teams - Build and influence key stakeholder relationships within partner organizations to advance Checkout's strategic goals - Identify, develop, and execute strategies for new partnership initiatives You will need 2-3 years of experience in payment products, operations, or managing payment partnerships. Experience with card networks and proficiency in payment systems and flows is highly valued. You should be organized, proactive, data-driven, and analytical in problem-solving. Proficiency with Excel, Google Sheets, PowerPoint, and Google Slides is required, along with comfort working with large datasets. Strong collaboration and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to influence stakeholders across organizations. You must be comfortable working across time zones and cultures in a globally distributed team. Checkout.com operates a hybrid model with three days per week in the London office to support collaboration and team connection.
