Bitpanda, a Vienna-based fintech platform founded in 2014, is seeking a Specialist in Consolidation & Regional Finance to join the Group Reporting team. The role focuses on group consolidation activities and day-to-day IFRS accounting, with responsibility for intercompany reconciliations and support for financial closes and audits.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform hands-on month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing tasks within the group consolidation workflow
- Assist in drafting IFRS annual financial statements, disclosures, and supporting technical notes
- Execute intercompany reconciliations to ensure accurate eliminations across entities
- Assist the team during year-end external audits by preparing supporting schedules, documentation, and answering routine queries
- Identify practical ways to improve consolidation templates and daily financial reporting workflows
The role is based in Vienna with a hybrid working model, offering flexibility to work remotely and 25 additional days per year to work from a city or country of your choice. Bitpanda operates across Europe with over 7 million customers and is backed by Series C funding.

Requirements:
- 2+ years of hands-on experience in group accounting, consolidation, or audit support
- Good practical understanding of IFRS standards and experience assisting with financial statement notes
- Hands-on exposure to year-end audit preparation and compiling clean audit working papers
- Working familiarity with group reporting software or standard ERP systems (LucaNet experience is a plus)
- Reliable team player who works comfortably in fast-paced fintech environments and meets tight reporting schedules
