Salary: USD 110,000 - 140,000 / annual

Voyager Technologies is seeking a Spacecraft Systems Engineer to support the technical development, testing, and operation of lunar landers and space systems. This role reports to the Systems Engineering Manager and serves as a source of technical guidance to subsystem teams. Key responsibilities include: - Design development for lunar landers and space-based systems - Managing concept of operations, mission and system requirements, design configuration, technical budgets, launch vehicle requirements, fault management, interface control, verification & validation planning, and technical risk mitigation throughout the program lifecycle - Providing technical guidance and direction to system and subsystem engineering teams - Collaborating with systems engineering teams, Mission Directors, partners, and customers - Supporting technical formulation of Interface Definition Documents, Interface Control Documents, integration plans, and operation plans - Serving as primary point of contact between partner and payload engineers - Supporting technical proposals for new business and mission opportunities - Preparing and delivering technical documentation and reports - Leading technical presentations and demonstrations - Communicating across multiple engineering disciplines to resolve technical risks and challenges Required qualifications include demonstrated experience in systems engineering, structure/thermal design, avionics, power systems, propulsion, communications, flight software, mission management, safety & mission assurance, trajectory analysis, launch vehicle constraints, risk management, and configuration management. Candidates must have a BS in Aerospace Engineering, Systems Engineering, or related field, plus minimum 3 years of relevant space mission experience. Desired qualifications include experience developing space systems from feasibility through flight operations, leading engineering teams, human-rated systems knowledge, V&V planning expertise, Range Safety compliance familiarity, EMI/EMC specifications knowledge, Model-Based Systems Engineering experience, and mission operations background.
