True Anomaly is building autonomous spacecraft, advanced payloads, mission software, and space-based interceptors to secure the space environment and counter threats. As a Spacecraft Mechanical Production Engineer (II-III), you will develop, implement, and optimize production processes for mechanical structures and mechanism systems across multiple vehicle types. Key responsibilities include: • Support the setup and scaling of spacecraft mechanical manufacturing capabilities for developmental programs and rate production • Develop work instructions for assembly, integration, and test of structural subsystems, mechanisms, deployables, and related ground support equipment and tooling • Directly support production on the floor to ensure efficient build of mechanical hardware, addressing bottlenecks and troubleshooting technical issues • Coordinate with engineers, technicians, and cross-functional teams to create optimized designs and bring them into reality for space operations • Participate in design reviews and provide manufacturing feedback to optimize producibility • Support quality assurance and compliance with aerospace standards and specifications • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives for manufacturing processes and efficiency This role offers hands-on engineering work in a fast-paced environment focused on advancing new technologies in space. You will work directly with hardware, from design optimization through production, and play a key role in scaling manufacturing capabilities for next-generation spacecraft systems.
