Impulse is seeking a Spacecraft Integration Engineer to own all aspects of spacecraft build from vehicle assembly through checkouts and launch site integration. This is a hands-on technical role with significant autonomy and growth potential for high performers. Key responsibilities include: - Owning the complete spacecraft build lifecycle from assembly start through launch vehicle integration - Executing critical system-level testing in direct collaboration with subsystem owners - Planning and driving system integration and activation with skilled technician teams - Building and managing multidisciplinary schedules to ensure on-time spacecraft delivery - Developing innovative solutions to technical challenges with high autonomy - Communicating effectively across propulsion, avionics, structures, software, test, and manufacturing teams - Identifying, tracking, and resolving build issues across the organization - Providing feedback to design teams to improve spacecraft processing throughout its lifecycle The role requires a Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, materials engineering, or related engineering discipline. Candidates should have 4+ years of experience integrating, designing, and/or building aerospace, industrial, chemical, or material manufacturing processes, plus 2+ years of demonstrated experience with pneumatic, electrical, and hydraulic functional test stands and testing.
