Hut 8 is seeking a Sourcing Manager to own strategic sourcing and procurement of specialty construction materials critical to data center projects. This role works cross-functionally with Engineering, Construction, Finance/AP, Legal, and Operations to protect project schedules and minimize material supply risk across capital projects. Key Responsibilities: - Own sourcing strategies for specialty construction materials including MV and LV cables, conduit, grounding systems, fiber, and electrical distribution equipment across the full site supply chain - Lead RFQs and technical and commercial bid evaluations with Engineering, including approved manufacturers and approved equals - Negotiate supply and frame agreements, including copper and aluminum price adjusters, tariff fluctuation strategies, lead time commitments, and warranty terms - Secure manufacturing slots for long lead equipment and track production against project schedules, identifying early risk indicators such as capacity constraints or sub-supplier delays - Qualify and dual source critical suppliers so no single manufacturer can stop a project - Partner with the procure-to-pay team so awarded agreements translate into accurate purchase orders, on time delivery, and payments aligned with contractual milestones - Report category spend, savings, and supply risk, and recommend improvements that reduce risk and improve cash flow timing Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in supply chain, Business, Engineering, or related field preferred (equivalent experience considered) - 5+ years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement of electrical materials and equipment for capital projects - Demonstrated experience negotiating supply agreements with manufacturers and distributors, including metal price adjustment terms - Comfortable reading single line diagrams, cable schedules, and equipment specifications at a commercial level - Track record of managing long-leaded equipment and supplier capacity constraints - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, evolving infrastructure or industrial environment - Preferred: Data center, utility, or mission critical project experience; experience with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, Coupa, Odoo) Work Environment: In-office at corporate headquarters in the Brickell area of Miami, Florida.
