As Sourcing Director for Apparel, you will lead end-to-end supply chain and sourcing strategy for sweater categories, building a resilient multi-sourcing approach. Key responsibilities include:
**Supply Chain & Partner Management:**
- Develop and execute comprehensive sourcing strategy for apparel categories with multi-source resilience
- Onboard new manufacturing partners to Quince's D2C model, coaching them on rapid replenishment and manufacturer-to-consumer (M2C) operations
- Educate partners on the Quince Operating System covering operational excellence, financial modeling (ROIC optimization), and technical integration via the Vendor Portal
**Operational Excellence & Growth:**
- Drive continuous improvement against key performance indicators: defect rate <0.5%, replenishment lead time <14 days, in-stock rate >99%, and margin-accretive financial performance
- Lead catalog expansion collaborating with Merchandising and Product Development teams, managing the New Product Creation (NPC) process
- Conduct structured Quarterly Business Reviews with partner management, focusing on strategic alignment, performance metrics, improvement areas, and future objectives
This role requires 15+ years of director-level strategic sourcing, procurement, or supplier management experience with major US-based retailers. You will be part of a high-performing team redefining quality, value, and sustainability in modern retail, working with world-class manufacturers globally to serve millions of customers.
