Wiz is a fast-growing cloud-native security platform company (recently acquired by Google) that helps organizations secure cloud and AI applications. As a Solutions Support Engineer, you will join a global technical support team delivering expert-level troubleshooting across Wiz's multi-domain security platform.
You will investigate and resolve complex customer technical issues spanning cloud infrastructure, workload protection, vulnerability management, and runtime defense across AWS, Azure, GCP, and OCI environments. Your responsibilities include troubleshooting cloud connector and integration failures, diagnosing workload scanning and runtime security issues, analyzing vulnerability findings to triage false positives, and supporting shift-left security workflows including CI/CD scanning and IaC security.
A key aspect of this role is designing and implementing automation that scales support operations—leveraging AI agents, agentic workflows, and tooling to improve triage accuracy and resolution efficiency. You will also participate in on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend support coverage.
You bring 5+ years of hands-on technical experience in customer support or system administration, with 2+ years working with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) including IAM, networking, and core services. You have 1+ years of production Kubernetes and containerized application experience, strong cloud security fundamentals, and the ability to read and debug code in Python, Shell, JavaScript, Java, Go, or Terraform. You are proficient with command-line tools and Linux environments, and have familiarity with the current AI landscape including LLM architectures.
Nice-to-have skills include vulnerability management and SBOM/SCA analysis, threat detection and runtime security experience, building agentic workflows or RAG architectures, Infrastructure-as-Code experience, GraphQL/REST API debugging, compliance framework knowledge, and support ticketing system experience (ServiceNow, Jira, Zendesk).
