As a Solutions Software Engineer in Professional Services, you will own the design, development, and delivery of complex technical integrations between Workstream's platform and enterprise client systems. You operate at the intersection of deep software engineering and customer partnership, leading integration architecture decisions, mentoring junior engineers, and driving technical standards across the PS organization.
The role is approximately 50% integration and internal engineering work: architecting and building robust API integrations between the platform and client HR, payroll, and POS systems; developing and maintaining reusable integration frameworks and shared libraries that accelerate delivery; and designing scalable solutions for complex data synchronization and workflow automation challenges.
Approximately 30% of your time involves customer partnership and delivery: collaborating directly with enterprise clients to translate complex business requirements into production-grade software; owning technical delivery timelines and quality standards; and driving visible impact on customer retention and satisfaction.
The remaining 20% focuses on mentorship and technical leadership: guiding junior engineers through complex problem-solving; establishing best practices and technical standards for the PS team; and contributing to the broader engineering culture.
You bring an AI-native mindset to everything you build, leveraging LLMs, automation, and modern AI tooling to deliver faster, smarter outcomes. The majority of your time is spent writing code, architecting scalable solutions, and solving genuinely hard technical problems. You work directly with enterprise clients and internal stakeholders with direct, visible impact.
