Salary: USD 142,000 - 205,000 / annual
Gong is seeking a Solutions Experience Engineer to design, build, and maintain world-class demo environments and automation tooling that showcase the business outcomes of Gong's Revenue AI Operating System. This is a high-impact role at the center of how Gong's platform story gets told across the organization.
In this position, you will own the end-to-end design and continuous improvement of persona-based demo environments and sandboxes, including datasets, uptime, lifecycle management, and technical issue resolution. You'll partner closely with Product and Engineering teams to integrate new feature releases and manage sandbox infrastructure at scale.
Key responsibilities include:
- Design and build demo solutions and workflows that demonstrate clear business outcomes across buyer personas
- Create and maintain automated pipelines for provisioning, refreshing, tearing down, and monitoring demo environments and datasets
- Develop high-impact technical collateral and reusable demo assets for internal Go-To-Market teams
- Leverage AI tools to build, prototype, and scale internal tooling that reduces manual work
- Lead demo-based GTM initiatives, managing timelines, deliverables, and technical risk
- Track sandbox adoption metrics and communicate new features and usage trends to field teams
- Report project status, usage analytics, and performance insights to Presales and Partner Leadership
- Conduct tailored technical demonstrations to upskill internal GTM teams on new platform functionality
- Deliver platform demos at select high-value industry conferences, executive briefings, and analyst reviews
- Join strategic calls and solution reviews for key ecosystem partners where demo depth is needed
- Research emerging market trends and continuously automate improvements to demo architecture and positioning

QUALIFICATIONS:
- 5+ years of experience in Demo Engineering, Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, or technical automation roles
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or practical experience in a comparable technical domain
- Hands-on experience with a programming or scripting language (e.g., Python, JavaScript) and/or QA/test automation background, with ability to build and maintain automated tooling, scripts, and pipelines
- Proven ability to solve complex integration challenges and build demo datasets and scripts
- Solid understanding of B2B sales processes and revenue personas, ensuring demo environments connect to business outcomes
- Proven track record of managing cross-functional projects with tight deadlines, building scalable operational processes, and enabling internal teams
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience presenting technical work to senior audiences
- Strong interpersonal skills, highly adaptable, fast learner, comfortable thriving in fast-paced, changing environments
