Exotec is a French industrial robotics company (the first French industrial unicorn) that combines AI and high-performance hardware to deploy robots globally, transforming how major brands deliver products and improving workplace conditions.
You will join the hardware electronics team to design and develop innovative electronic solutions for Exotec's robotic systems. Your responsibilities include:
• Propose innovative electronics designs (control boards, vision systems, batteries, motors, sensors, etc.)
• Formalize and document requirements and specifications for new products
• Manage suppliers and subcontractors to design and industrialize electronic boards for the company's systems
• Validate technical and economic solutions throughout the development phase, from prototype to first production series
• Oversee coordination of activities from design through validation testing
• Conduct validation tests and on-site commissioning
You will work on complex robotic systems, balancing software, mechanical, and electronic integration constraints while managing international supplier relationships.
REQUIREMENTS:
• Engineering degree or equivalent Bac+5 qualification with specialization in electronics
• Minimum 5 years of experience in electronics design, ideally with vision systems
• Strong knowledge of industrial electronics environment and its constraints
• Embedded software knowledge
• Experience with robotized systems and ability to account for full-system integration constraints (software, mechanical) in designs
• Structured, pragmatic, rigorous approach; ability to take ownership and drive projects autonomously
• Operational English proficiency (written and spoken) for daily communication with international suppliers
