Harmony is building an AI-powered employee service platform that deploys inside Slack and Microsoft Teams. The product uses intelligent agents to resolve service requests across IT, HR, finance, procurement, and legal—achieving a 70% no-touch resolution rate and eliminating manual work while keeping humans focused on complex problems.
As a Solutions Engineer, you will own the technical implementation and onboarding experience for customers, starting during the evaluation phase and continuing through post-sale deployment. You are a critical part of the sales process: your work directly influences whether prospects convert and whether customers expand. You'll be the person who proves the product delivers real value in a customer's actual environment, often tipping the decision when prospects evaluate Harmony against competitors.
This is a deeply technical, hands-on individual contributor role. You will:
- Own end-to-end technical implementation: configuring, integrating, and deploying the product in customer environments during evaluations, POCs, and post-sale phases
- Drive deal outcomes by executing high-quality implementations during evaluations that convert prospects into paying customers
- Partner closely with Account Executives and the GTM team to shape deal strategy, scope technical requirements, and remove blockers
- Run onboarding for new customers: architect their environment, build integrations, and accelerate time-to-value
- Develop repeatable implementation playbooks, scripts, and tooling to scale the GTM motion
- Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges—working with APIs, infrastructure, and code to keep engagements moving
- Communicate clearly with both technical practitioners and executive stakeholders, framing product value appropriately for each audience
- Feed field insights back to Product and Engineering on customer needs, product gaps, and deal-closing opportunities
REQUIREMENTS:
- 5+ years of experience in solutions engineering, software engineering, technical consulting, or similar hands-on technical role (preferably with GTM exposure)
- Strong technical depth: comfortable with APIs, cloud infrastructure, networking, scripting, and debugging complex systems
- Proficiency in AI-assisted engineering workflows—you use tools like Claude Code, Codex, and similar LLM-based agents as a natural part of building, debugging, and shipping
- Experience working alongside Sales as part of the deal cycle; understand what it takes to win a technical evaluation and can operate with urgency when deals depend on it
- Experience running implementations or technical onboarding across multiple customers simultaneously
- Self-directed problem solver who thrives in ambiguous, fast-moving environments
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Domain knowledge in IT operations, IT infrastructure, or IT service management (ITSM, monitoring, endpoint management, networking)
- Experience supporting or participating in technical evaluations, POCs, or pilot programs
- Background in software development—you've built and shipped production code
