Motif is an agent-native platform for building design. We're seeking a highly technical, customer-facing Solutions Engineer to drive initial implementation of Motif's Design product with customers, from pilot through full adoption.
You will be responsible for delivering technical solutions that bridge Motif's AI-powered technology with how customers actually design day-to-day. This role combines deep technical expertise with customer obsession—you'll own outcomes, not just ship features.
Key responsibilities:
- Drive initial implementation and adoption of Motif's Design product with customers
- Provide technical validation, product demos, custom architecture design, proof-of-concept design, and deployment integration
- Conduct training and create onboarding materials
- Develop technical solutions that make Motif's technology work seamlessly in customer workflows
- Own adoption metrics: daily active usage growth and customer satisfaction
- Provide feedback to Product Management to improve onboarding and adoption
- Partner with Sales, Customer Success, and Forward Deployed Engineers
- Split time between Copenhagen office and customer sites (Oslo, London, and beyond)
- Expect approximately 50% travel, domestic and international
This is a full-time, in-office role requiring 5 days per week onsite presence in Copenhagen, with significant customer-facing travel.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of relevant experience with real time in an architecture practice
- Computational design expertise: Grasshopper, Python, Rhino on actual professional projects
- Prior experience in a technical, customer-facing role owning outcomes
- Consultative communication style; ability to listen and guide customers
- Genuine passion for technology; active use of AI tools and hands-on experience building AI agents
Preferred:
- BIM and Revit experience
- General hands-on experience with Design Technology software in the AEC (Architecture, Engineering, Construction) industry
- Track record of moving adoption metrics like daily active usage
