Aave Labs is seeking a Solutions Engineer to join the Business Development team, bridging engineering and commercial strategy. The role focuses on helping partners successfully integrate with and build on Aave's lending infrastructure—the world's largest onchain lending market.
You will work across Product, Engineering, and Business Development to develop, package, and document solutions around Aave's earn and borrow products. This is a hands-on position centered on building reference architectures, prototypes, and integration materials that enable rapid partner adoption.
Key responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with Business Development and Product during pre-sales engagements to architect tailored integration solutions
- Developing and packaging solution materials that help partners visualize how Aave fits into their existing stack and product strategy
- Equipping Business Development with technical assets, documentation, and prototypes for partner presentations
- Designing and documenting reference architectures, SDK templates, and integration patterns to reduce friction and accelerate adoption
- Building and testing proofs of concept, demos, and example integrations showcasing best practices
- Troubleshooting technical challenges during integration to ensure smooth launches and strong post-deployment performance
- Working closely with Engineering and Product to relay partner needs, surface technical insights, and influence roadmap priorities
- Keeping internal stakeholders aligned on timelines, dependencies, and progress across multiple concurrent integrations
Required qualifications:
- 4+ years of experience in solutions architecture, partner engineering, or blockchain development, ideally in Fintech, Crypto, or Web3
- Strong technical fluency with ability to understand and read Solidity, Typescript, and Rust (hands-on coding experience is a plus)
- Proven ability to translate business goals and partner requirements into clear, scalable technical designs
- Excellent communication skills engaging both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple partner integrations simultaneously, operate autonomously, and maintain momentum
- Strong curiosity for DeFi and genuine enthusiasm for open financial infrastructure evolution
