Benchling is an AI platform for biotech R&D used by over 200,000 scientists globally, including major biopharma companies like Sanofi and Moderna. The Solutions Delivery Manager role sits at the intersection of product and customer experience, responsible for translating Benchling's capabilities into effective solutions that match customers' scientific workflows.
This is a unique opportunity to help establish Chemistry—one of Benchling's newest and most exciting product areas—through market adoption. You'll partner closely with internal product, enablement, and delivery teams while working directly with customers to build trust and shape the product vision in this space.
Key responsibilities include:
- Navigate the Chemistry product area through to market adoption, partnering with product, enablement, and delivery teams
- Serve as a key scientific and product expert advisor on customer accounts
- Oversee services engagements to ensure high-quality solution delivery
- Build and maintain solution assets (best practices documents, playbooks, etc.)
- Train and educate the broader Customer Experience organization through documentation, enablement initiatives, and customer engagement guidance
- Collaborate across CX departments to incorporate customer learnings into solutions
- Work cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, and Strategy to align on product value and messaging
- Develop a roadmap of solution assets for the CX organization
You'll need 6+ years of lab experience in medicinal chemistry or PD chemistry, fluency in chemistry-focused lab informatics tools, and 2+ years in customer-facing roles. A Bachelor's degree in chemistry or life sciences is required; a Ph.D. in chemistry is preferred. You should be comfortable working across teams with ambiguity, have excellent communication skills, and demonstrate strong problem-solving abilities. Benchling values AI fluency and will assess your ability to integrate AI tools into your work.
