Cohere is a leading enterprise AI company building cutting-edge foundation models and end-to-end products for businesses. As a Solutions Architect for the Southern Europe region, you will drive AI adoption across France, Spain, Italy, and the wider European region, partnering with account executives, partners, and enterprise/public sector leadership.
You will sit at the intersection of forward-deployed engineering and AI transformation, serving as a technical expert, trusted advisor, product evangelist, and thought leader. Your responsibilities include:
- Developing deep understanding of customer problems and mapping them to Cohere solutions
- Owning the technical relationship with key stakeholders and serving as the trusted technical advisor
- Leading the design and deployment of customer pilots for strategic enterprise and government customers
- Owning the customer's technical narrative end-to-end, from discovery and architecture through pilot results and business case development
- Gathering valuable customer insights and feedback to shape product development
- Leading technical discussions on customer calls and designing enterprise architectures
- Conducting deep dives on customer queries and Cohere technology
- Working with customer executives to prioritize use cases, define success metrics, and build business cases for AI adoption
- Facilitating customer evaluations and pilots within their existing technology stacks
- Developing processes to enable the solutions architect team to scale effectively
- Collaborating with Product and Engineering teams to ensure offerings match customer needs
- Working with partners to develop strategies for enabling and accelerating their customers

REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years in customer-facing technical roles (consulting data scientist, forward deployed engineer, deployment strategist, or solutions architect) taking AI or data solutions from executive problem framing to production
- Passion for Agentic AI with practical understanding of where LLMs deliver value in production and where they don't
- Solid grounding in ML fundamentals (training, evaluation, retrieval) and ability to design evaluation frameworks for customer pilots
- Excellent communication skills: ability to present to CEOs and engage deeply with technical audiences
- Thrive in ambiguity and can establish high-impact structure and processes
- Comfortable with Python and AI-assisted coding tools
- Professional fluency in English (business and technical) — required
- Fluency in French, Spanish, or Italian — preferred
