Celonis is the trusted platform to industrialize Enterprise AI, combining process data, business knowledge, and intelligence into a living digital twin of the enterprise. As a Solutions Architect, you will be a key technical resource ensuring customers' data flows reliably, securely, and at scale into the Celonis Platform, with insights and actions flowing back to customer systems and AI tools.
You'll join the customer programs team as one of the first technical faces of Celonis, working hands-on across the full integration toolkit. Your responsibilities span data integration and ingestion, actions and AI connectivity, identity and security, and customer impact.
Data Integration & Ingestion: You'll implement standard extractors (SAP ECC/S/4HANA, JDBC databases, Salesforce, ServiceNow, etc.), build custom API connectors using Celonis Extractor Builder for REST/SOAP APIs with authentication handling (OAuth 2.0, API keys, certificates), enable push-based ingestion via Python scripts and the Data Ingestion API, and configure zero-copy data sharing with lakehouses (Databricks, Microsoft Fabric) including Delta Sharing and access controls.
Actions, AI & Platform Connectivity: You'll configure Action Flows and integration patterns that write insights back to customer systems (SAP, Salesforce, ticketing tools), and help customers connect Celonis to their LLMs and AI agents through MCP with proper authentication and governance.
Identity, Security & Governance: You'll configure SSO (SAML, OIDC) with identity providers (Microsoft Entra ID, Okta, Ping), set up SCIM-based user and group provisioning, support security and compliance reviews, and advise on data minimization, pseudonymization, and least-privilege access.
Customer & Team Impact: You'll run technical discovery, document integration architectures, estimate effort, escalate product gaps with reproducible detail, share field feedback to shape the integration roadmap, and contribute reusable connector templates, scripts, and best-practice documentation.
This role is ideal for someone early in their career who wants broad exposure to enterprise architecture and modern data and AI integration patterns. You'll be part implementation consultant, part integration engineer, part trusted technical advisor.
Requirements:
- 2–5 years of experience in a technical, customer-facing role (solutions engineering, integration/implementation consulting, data engineering, or technical consulting)
- Hands-on experience with REST APIs and common authentication patterns (OAuth 2.0, API keys, tokens); comfort using tools like Postman
- Solid programming skills in Python (or similar language) and strong SQL skills
- Working knowledge of data pipelines and ETL/ELT concepts, including incremental loads, scheduling, and handling large data volumes
- Familiarity with identity and access management concepts (SSO SAML/OIDC, SCIM provisioning)
- Basic understanding of networking and security fundamentals (TLS, certificates, proxies, firewalls, VPNs)
- Ability to explain technical topics clearly to both engineers and business stakeholders; ability to manage workstreams across multiple customer projects
- Curiosity, ownership, and bias toward hands-on problem solving
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
Nice to Have:
- Experience with SAP data structures, tables, or extraction (RFC, ODP, S/4HANA)
- Experience with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and/or lakehouse platforms (Databricks, Microsoft Fabric, Snowflake)
- Exposure to iPaaS or low-code integration tools (MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato, Power Automate)
- Familiarity with LLMs, AI agents, or MCP
- Experience with Docker or Linux server administration
- Relevant certifications (Celonis, cloud, or SAP)
