Applied Intuition is seeking a Solution Engineer to support the Land portfolio, working with defense customers across the UK and Europe. You will serve as the technical bridge between uniformed and civilian customers and Applied Intuition's engineering and product teams, ensuring their autonomous systems solutions deliver maximum impact in the defense sector.
In this role, you will support pre-sales activities alongside Land Systems and Partnerships Leads, lead technical discussions and architecture reviews with customers, conduct product demos, and support early-stage deployments. You'll help customers adopt Applied's code-first developer toolchain, onboarding their engineering teams onto the SDK and integrating with their existing infrastructure. You will manage multiple customer engagements in parallel while maintaining strong attention to detail and execution discipline.
Required qualifications include 3+ years of experience in the Land domain, a degree in computer science, electrical engineering, or related field, and basic to intermediate programming experience in C/C++, Python, or similar languages. You must hold UK Security Clearance and demonstrate strong written and verbal communication skills in English. Experience working directly with customers on complex problems at the intersection of software and vehicle systems is essential.
Nice-to-have qualifications include service in a European Army, exposure to perception systems or AI/ML pipelines for in-vehicle applications, experience with simulation environments or digital twin platforms for vehicle software validation, and project management experience in cross-functional, customer-facing programs.
