Veeam is seeking a Solutions Architect / Implementation Consultant to design, deploy, and validate Veeam data protection and data resilience solutions within customer environments. This role bridges the gap between solution design and hands-on delivery, translating customer requirements and pre-sales designs into detailed implementation plans and executing them to successful, production-ready outcomes.
Key responsibilities include designing technically sound Veeam solution architectures based on customer requirements and best practices; leading technical implementation and configuration of Veeam products from initial setup through production cutover; translating high-level pre-sales designs into detailed low-level design documentation with sizing, configuration standards, and architecture diagrams; validating infrastructure prerequisites and identifying risks before implementation; partnering with Project Managers to align technical delivery with project timelines; executing Customer Infrastructure and Veeam Product Health Check assessments; performing comprehensive testing and validation including backup/recovery, failover, and performance validation; troubleshooting complex technical issues during implementation; documenting as-built configurations and runbooks; providing technical guidance on ongoing operations and optimization; collaborating with Sales Engineers during pre-sales handoff; identifying opportunities for solution improvement and repeatable delivery methodology; and maintaining up-to-date expertise across the Veeam product portfolio and related infrastructure technologies.
Required qualifications include 3+ years in a Solutions Architect, Implementation Consultant, or similar hands-on technical delivery role; strong working knowledge of data protection, backup and recovery, and disaster recovery concepts; experience designing and implementing solutions across virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper-V), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud), and enterprise storage; demonstrated ability to translate customer requirements into detailed technical designs and execute in production environments; strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills; and excellent communication abilities for both technical and business stakeholders.
Bonus qualifications include Veeam Certified Engineer (VMCE) or higher certifications; additional certifications in virtualization, cloud, or storage; experience delivering infrastructure or product Health Check assessments; experience in Professional Services at technology vendors; and scripting/automation experience (PowerShell, REST API).
