UiPath is seeking a forward-deployed Solution Architect to design, build, and operationalize AI agent workflows in enterprise and public sector customer environments. This is a hands-on technical role combining software engineering, platform expertise, and solution architecture.
You will own end-to-end architecture for UiPath automation and agentic programs at customer sites, including agents, RPA workflows, integrations, data pipelines, and human-in-the-loop steps. Key responsibilities include designing agentic workflows that combine LLM decision-making with tool/function calling, context grounding, and deterministic fallbacks to keep behavior predictable in production. You'll architect Document Understanding pipelines for extraction, classification, and validation, then connect them to customer systems via Python services.
You will select the right GenAI/ML technique per problem—whether prompting, retrieval and context grounding, or trained models in AI Center—and establish guardrails, human checkpoints, and escalation paths before go-live. You'll deploy and operationalize AI agents in production, including APIs, data pipelines, and integration with existing systems, while acting as a trusted technical advisor translating requirements into architecture and explaining design choices to engineering and executive audiences.
You'll establish standards, reusable patterns, and design reviews governing delivery from discovery through hypercare, mentor developers, and feed field findings back into the product roadmap and reusable assets.
Required: 7+ years hands-on software development in Python, C#, TypeScript, VB.NET or comparable languages; 4+ years building UiPath automation workflows with knowledge of Orchestrator, Document Understanding, Action Apps, AI Center, and Insights; command of UiPath design patterns and when to apply them; hands-on experience building, deploying, or operating LLM-based agents and agentic workflows in production; working understanding of prompting, grounding, and hallucination mitigation; proven customer-facing track record in forward-deployed, professional services, implementation, or consulting roles; technical leadership across distributed teams; experience designing end-to-end solutions across applications, APIs, and automation platforms; excellent English communication; degree in Computer Science, Engineering, AI, or related field (or equivalent practical experience).
