Auditdata is seeking a Solution Architect to join its Architecture Group, building enterprise-grade software for audiology clinics and hearing care providers worldwide. This is a hands-on role combining deep technical architecture with solution shaping and customer partnership.
You will own system and integration design for assigned domains while working directly with Product, Sales, Delivery, and customers to translate clinical and commercial problems into implementable solutions. The role balances architecture review work with customer workshops, requirements refinement, and pre-sales engagement.
Key responsibilities include: designing end-to-end solutions for significant initiatives; leading technical and solution workshops with customers and partners; serving as technical advisor during pre-sales, RFP responses, and enterprise procurement; shaping domain models and bounded contexts; defining APIs and event contracts across microservices; evaluating initiatives for architectural feasibility; coaching teams on DDD and Clean Architecture; and maintaining architecture documentation and ADRs.
You will work in a .NET, React, and Azure cloud environment (AKS, Service Bus, Event Hubs, Azure SQL Database, Azure DevOps). The role requires deep understanding of integration architectures, microservices, event-driven systems, Domain-Driven Design, and security/compliance for regulated data (HIPAA experience valued). You must be equally comfortable in customer workshops and architecture reviews, treating "what should we build and why" as core to your job.
Required: 10+ years software engineering experience including 5+ years in architecture or solution-architecture roles within enterprise SaaS; proven ability to turn ambiguous business needs into implementable designs; experience designing integration architectures (message buses, event streaming, REST APIs, webhooks); practical knowledge of microservices and event-driven architectures; solid understanding of security and compliance for regulated data; strong Azure cloud background; ability to produce high-quality technical documentation (C4 models); excellent communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences; confidence in customer-facing and commercial settings; fluent English.
Nice-to-have: experience with multi-tenant SaaS platforms; healthcare integration experience.
