Applied Intuition is a $15B-valued company (founded 2017) powering physical AI infrastructure for autonomous vehicles and machines across automotive, defense, trucking, construction, mining, and agriculture. The Autonomy Integration team bridges autonomy software with real vehicles, owning the full stack: compute, networking, sensors, actuation, embedded execution, and platform automation for both passenger and industrial vehicles. In this role, you will lead end-to-end platform integration of autonomy software onto new vehicle platforms, from system architecture and interface definition through first engaged drive and handoff. Key responsibilities include: - Design on-vehicle compute topology, network segmentation, power and data paths, and interfaces between autonomy compute, safety controllers, and vehicle ECUs - Build and validate drive-by-wire interfaces (from OEM specs or third-party systems) and bring up sensor suites (lidar, radar, camera) including drivers, time sync, and calibration - Own the Linux software baseline and configuration management for vehicle reproducibility; port control software to real-time embedded targets as needed - Build bench setups, on-vehicle test procedures, and automation to catch regressions and enable fleet scaling - Debug across the software-to-actuator boundary, set direction on standard interfaces and tools, mentor engineers, and own documentation and specs for other teams - Participate in hands-on vehicle and test-track work (~10% travel) Applied Intuition is primarily in-office (5 days/week from Sunnyvale HQ), with flexibility for occasional remote work and schedule adjustments.
