As an AI Engineer on the Machine Learning team, you will develop and improve computer vision and machine learning systems that analyze driving behavior, identify safety risks, and provide actionable coaching to fleet operators. Your work will directly impact millions of trucks and contribute to safer roads while reducing operational costs.
Key responsibilities include:
- Evaluate and improve performance of existing production models and algorithms
- Prototype and implement ML modules for complex AI features
- Build and optimize computer vision and ML algorithms for real-time performance on embedded platforms (next-gen AI dashcams)
- Write Python and C++ code for CV algorithms, ML services, training pipelines, model compression, and deployment
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Embedded, Backend, Frontend, Hardware, QA, AI) to develop robust and scalable AI systems
- Build automated deployment, validation, and active learning pipelines
You will work with a high-caliber team of experienced researchers and engineers in computer vision, machine learning, deep learning, and robotics, with a track record of published research and successful products.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
- 4+ years of machine learning and/or data science experience
- Solid mathematical foundation in deep learning, machine learning, and optimization approaches
- Strong proficiency in Python or C++
- Experience with AWS (SageMaker, Lambda, EC2, S3, RDS), CI/CD, Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes is a plus
- Prior experience optimizing and deploying ML models on embedded devices is a strong plus
