You will lead the Alternatives Data Management (ADM) team, building AI-powered data products and workflow solutions that enhance transparency and efficiency in private market investments. This is a people-management role where you'll oversee a small team of frontend and backend engineers with growth potential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a growing team of full-stack engineers, driving their career development
- Owning technical design and implementation for select projects to model excellence
- Collaborating with platform teams to deliver consistent, high-quality features
- Staying current on industry trends (AI tooling, emerging technologies) to enhance team effectiveness
- Working cross-functionally with Product and Design to deliver client-facing features
- Partnering with engineering and product leads across US, UK, and India offices on process improvements and best practices
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent professional experience
- 10+ years of software engineering experience
- 2+ years managing software engineering teams
- Strong experience with Python or Java
- Full-stack and product engineering background preferred
- React experience a plus
- AWS experience highly preferred
This is a hybrid role requiring 3 days per week in the Pune office. Legal authorization to work in India is required; visa sponsorship is not available.
